Music Festivals

Summer is the season for Music Festivals and EastWest Entertainment is proud to represent some of the best music festivals in the Pan-China region. We are looking for a number of good artists and bands to come to Asia to play for two or more weeks. If this sound like something you are interested in doing, and you have the time THIS SUMMER, then read on!

Qingdao Music Festival

The Qingdao Music Festival is an annual summer music festival running during the months of July to mid-September. The city of Qingdao is a major port city halfway between Beijing and Shanghai on China’s east coast. It is a resort town and the music festival will be held right by the beach. There is beach access from the music festival so it is a place of summer fun, surf and music. 

The organizers are interested in presenting a variety of music, including many headlining Chinese artists as well as Chinese Indie artists. We will also have established western artists along with western Indie western artists. The city of Qingdao estimates that about twenty million people from inland will go to Qingdao just in the months of July and August. This is a tremendous opportunity for new artists to be heard in front of a large Chinese audience … there is also the potential to be signed to a Chinese label from this appearance.

There are a number of requirements for performing in China. If you CANNOT MEET any of these criteria – then we would suggest that you DO NOT APPLY. Please only apply if you can meet ALL of the criteria. Click here to see the requirements.

Once you have checked the requirements, and you can meet them all, the final step is to submit your registration fee of US$60. We are accepting applications now for ALL GENRES of music.

Your application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and all applicants will be contacted by June with the results of this year’s selections for the music festivals.
